DataMaster Australia has worked with a variety of government and nfp economic development organisations either as a consultant or part time/full time employee on a project-specific basis.

In many cases, the nature of the partnership was based on the development of major information resources, namely business, labour market and input/output data provided by local businesses. In other cases, projects were varied, but were generally related to labour market issues. Information on the focus and outcomes of these projects are detailed in Projects or Reports.

• Beaudesert Shire Council. Construction of Industry, Labour Market and Input/Output Analysis database.
   
• Beaudesert Shire Council. Ongoing involvement in establishing the Beaudesert Tourism Development Organisation, implementation of the database and various labour market activities (See REPORTS, NEEDS, Page 16)
   
• Esk Shire Council. Construction of Industry & Labour Market database on behalf of the Western Region of Councils (Esk, Laidley, Boonah & Gatton)
   
• Ipswich City Council. Various research projects supporting the Council’s major investment in the Global Info-Links Project, particularly relating to the provision of internet access to schools and students in the Ipswich area (See REPORTS, Home PCs & Computers….), and labour market issues relating to long term unemployed (See REPORTS, Constraints to Employment….).
   
• Gladstone Area Promotion & Development Limited. Construction of an industry and labour market database for the Gladstone, Miriam Vale and Calliope local government areas, 1995
   
• Flinders Shire Council (NW Qld). Preparation of a major funding application to address employment and environmental issues (land degradation) in North West Queensland (Charters Towers, Hughenden, Cloncurry).
   
• DEETYA. Research commissioned by Department of Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Affairs (R.Tickner) to identify employers prepared to offer employment opportunities for ATSI in Rockhampton
   
• Rockhampton Chamber of Commerce & Industry Inc. Contract administrator, marketing, development of the Rockhampton industry database
   
• Central Queensland Institute of TAFE, Rockhampton. Lecturer in Marketing to Dip.Bus (Hospitality) and Dip.Bus (Accounting)
   
• Fairfield City Council, Sydney. Construction of industry database (>7,000 entries), development of Council’s industry website, collection of workplacement data for voc-ed students (Director of Fairfield Workplace Learning Partnerships) and Cert 2 training for nesb business operators.
   
• Tamworth Regional Development Corporation Limited. Construction of new Strategic Plan, construction and maintenance of major industry database including annual strategic Precinct reports (See REPORTS, Tamworth Town Centre Re-Visited), development of industry website, support to other regional Councils to establish information resources, business migration strategy and implementation.
